Rajasthan Royals have now won their first match in this edition of the IPL.

Kolkata Knight Riders have now lost two consecutive matches.

Ashoke Dinda made a fine come back into the Knight Riders team by claiming Lumb in the very first ball of the match. Dinda, with 2 wickets in the match has now claimed 15 wickets in 23 matches in all editions of the IPL.

Shane Warne’s wicket-less spell is now adding to the agonies as he has claimed now just 1 wicket in 4 matches of this edition of IPL.

Munaf Patel’s wicket of Sourav Ganguly in the last over of the match is just his second in three matches in this edition of IPL. Rajasthan’s leading wicket taker in this tournament so far is Dimitri Masceranhas (4 wickets in 2 matches), who has already gone back home with an injury.

Adam Voges joins the list of another Australian to play for the Royals. The list now includes Warne, Tait, Martyn, Carseldine, and Rob Quiney. He also made an impressive start by scoring 37 of just 22 deliveries.
