| London, July 28 (ANI): England cricketers playing in the County Championship point towards an unchanged side for next week's second Test match against South Africa at Headingley. The pre-series hype surrounded the battle between the two best pace attacks in the world, but it was South Africa's top-order batsmen who dominated at the Oval as England pacers managed to take only two wickets. Steven Finn and Graham Onions were playing for their respective county teams at Chester-le-Street on Friday morning, with the England pacers who played at the Oval being rested. Finn took the new ball for Middlesex against Onions's Durham side, The Telegraph reports. Nottinghamshire took to the field without either Broad or spinner Graeme Swann. Speculations are rife that England may field an attack of five specialist bowlers at the expense of Ravi Bopara. The Essex batsman's return to the Test side yielded only 22 runs and a pair of bad dismissals at the Oval. (ANI) |
