Coach Whatmore says improving Pakistan’s ranking in every format is long-term goal

Islamabad, May 29(ANI): Pakistan coach Dav Whatmore has said his team is gunning for success during their upcoming Sri Lanka tour, but their longer goal is to improve team’s rankings in all three formats of the game.

The task here is to win, but the longer goal is to take Pakistan high up in the rankings in all three formats,” The Express Tribune quoted Whatmore, as saying.

“It’s a simple statement, but it requires a lot of work,” he added.

Pakistan would play three Test matches, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 games during their seven-week long Sri Lankan tour. (ANI)
