‘Impenitent’ Pietersen won’t stop tweeting after criticizing ex-England opener Knight

London, May 23(ANI): England batsman Kevin Pietersen has said he won’t stop tweeting following his latest tryst with controversy after he branded former England opening batsman Nick Knight’s involvement in the Lord’s Test match as ‘ridiculous’.

Pietersen’s comments over Sky Sports pundit Knight has landed him in trouble with the England and Wales Cricket Board, The Guardian reports.

An unapologetic Pietersen said: “No, not at all – I won''t stop [tweeting], no,”

Pietersen also ran into disciplinary trouble previously in 2010 when he described his omission from the one-day squad as ‘a fuck-up’, thinking he was sending a private message rather than a public tweet.

Knight won’t be involved in England’s second Test match against the West Indies at Trent Bridge, and Sky insists it has nothing to do with Pietersen. (ANI)
