Knight Riders claim crucial win
Kolkata Knight Riders virtually ensured a place in the Indian Premier League play-offs with a 32-run win over Mumbai Indians.

West Indian spinner Sunil Narine was the star of the show, returning figures of four for 15 as KKR bowled the hosts out for 108 at the Wankhede Stadium.

KKR batted first and posted 140 for seven, captain Gautam Gambhir contributing 27 off 23 balls at the top of the order and Manoj Tiwary top-scoring with 41, including two fours and two sixes.

RP Singh shipped 33 runs in his four overs but took the crucial wickets of Brendon McCullum and Jacques Kallis for a combined tally of one.

Mumbai's hopes rested largely on Herschelle Gibbs and Sachin Tendulkar but they fell for 13 and 27 respectively, the latter the first of Narine's victims.

Dinesh Kartik made 21 but after that wickets tumbled with regularity, Lakshmipathy Balaji and Kallis chipping in with two apiece.
